Overall operations and reach

Our national offices are in Booysens, Gauteng (just south of Johannesburg), and we also have five regional offices in KwaZulu-Natal (Kokstad), the Free State (Bethlehem), the Northern Cape (Keimoes), the North West province (Phokeng) and Limpopo (Polokwane). Our Kokstad office also works with schools in the Eastern Cape, while our Polokwane office works in Mpumalanga.

At our national offices we have 25 staff members, with 5 regional managers at each of the regional offices. 

Our main focus is on schools in the rural areas where our regional offices are located, although we work throughout South Africa (as well as in Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Swaziland and Malawi) as needed.

Resources

CIE provides various resources for teachers, learners and our network, to use to carry out in their projects. These resources include relevant Bills, policies, the Constitution, government Acts, reports and communication from a number of stakeholders, including the Pope.
