It is a great opportunity to be part of CIE because it made our school to be rated amongst the best in Lisikisiki which is turn rated the poorest in the Region and Province.

We are always ahead about new developments and improvements in the Department at large. We are really doing very good in Pastoral Care, caring for everyone especially OVC and giving hope to the desperate and by having a committee which looks into learner needs. We are the only school in the circuit that has a trained Counselor who is actually helping learners. We so wish we can have one more trained for counseling because one of our counselors was promoted to District office and he left our school.

We are also rated the best in numeracy and literacy especially in the Foundation Phase. We achieved so many certificates from a competition in which we took part in our district this competition is in line with the Government Policy “Foundation for Learning”. We give credit to CIE for giving us reading books and boosting confidence to teachers by way of workshops.

It is even worse with “Echoing the Word” programme which is also giving our educators more confidence in teaching RE makes our learners better in terms of discipline compared to learners from schools around.
