Springfield Convent School is a Catholic Independent Day School for girls from Pre-Primary to Matric, founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1871, and located in beautiful historic gardens in Wynberg, Cape Town. Springfield has a nurturing Catholic atmosphere and tradition, and a proud record of academic excellence. Dominican education addresses the whole person, and successful departments of music, art, and drama, together with excellent facilities for sport are therefore an important part of the school’s offering.

The School Board offers an opportunity for a forward-looking leader to make a meaningful contribution to the vision of the school in the capacity of Principal of the Senior School (Grade 8 to Grade 12). Within our ethos, the Principal is the spiritual leader of the school community, responsible for implementing the Board’s strategic vision in the Senior School. The Principal will work collaboratively with the Principal of the Junior School, to build the community of ‘one Springfield’, constantly aware of the need for the environment to be welcoming to each one.
