We are looking to appoint a passionate and innovative Religious Education co-ordinator who will provide a stimulating learning environment.
The successful candidate must be registered with SACE and fit the following profile:
- Senior school trained educator with recent teaching experience.
- Experience in teaching RE in a Catholic school
- A Qualification in Scripture, Theology or Religious Education would be an advantage
- Be a committed, involved, practising Catholic
- Experience in preparing Masses, Assemblies, devotions and other religious services
- Knowledge of the Life bound and Cord Curriculums
- Attended courses run by the CIE or CSO
- Recent experience in Church youth work would also be an advantage
- Sound leadership skills and an ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines
- An ability to communicate effectively with staff, learners, parents, and school community
- The ability to work in collaboration with the Principal and Head of Ethos.
- Be technologically proficient
Duties will include:
- Attendance at related workshops and parent interviews
- A full and active role in the co-curricular life of the school
