Springfield Convent School is a leading Independent Day School for girls from Pre-Primary to Matric. The Senior School Principal invites applicants to apply for the Head of Sport position in our Senior School. Applicants who meet the following criteria are invited to apply.
The applicant must:
- be suitably qualified
- be registered with SACE
- be able to coordinate a complex and busy sports department
- assist and guide the Heads of Sports codes regarding appointment and supervision of
coaches, setting fixtures, arranging tours and the extra-mural calendar
- have strong administrative skills
- have sufficient financial skills to set up and maintain budgets
- mentor pupils in the Sport Portfolio
- be able to communicate effectively and work well with parents, pupils and staff
- have a vision and passion for the education of girls in the 21st century
- support and promote the values and ethos of the school
